U.S. Insurance Company
Performed a focused evaluation to determine the root cause of internal communications failures
during the company’s response to a catastrophic weather event. The examination uncovered some significant organizational and structural problems that prevented timely and effective execution of the company’s incident management function. EMSS documented these issues and developed a comprehensive set of recommendations to revamp all aspects of incident management including initial event assessment, notification and activation of incident management resources, and communication protocols between the incident management team and key internal and external stakeholders.
