Current Project Path Of Hurricane Gonzalo
Current projected path of Hurricane Gonzalo

Hurricane Gonzalo, now a category 4 storm, has reached winds of 130mph across the Atlantic and has already been blamed for killing one man in the Dutch Caribbean territory of St Martins while en route to Bermuda. The eye of the powerful storm is expected to pass near the British territory Friday evening and Bermuda says it’s ready.

On the other side of the Atlantic, the UK Environment Agency has warned the southeast and southwest of England to prepare for flooding as the remnants of Gonzalo look set to bring weather hell to Britain at the beginning of next week. When Gonzalo hits the UK, it could bring heavy rain and even blizzards to Britain if the storm coincides with a number of significantly cooler days that are due next week.
