Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos

A scary and rather perplexing ordeal played out recently when an air marshal was stuck with a syringe at the Lagos, Nigeria, airport this past Sunday (9/7). Preliminary results have identified no “bad toxins” in the mystery substance that was injected into a U.S. air marshal

The air marshal flew back to the United States after the attack and was have said to ‘feel fine’ the entire 12-hour flight.

The incident occurred when several federal agents were going through initial airport screening when a “group of men” approached. Suddenly a member of the group stuck an air marshal with a syringe and ran. The marshal continued to board, putting the needle on ice for further examination later. Upon landing at Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport, the necessary precautions were taken.
