I have been a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) through the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) since 1998. Every time I re-certify (every 5 years) I am amazed at what it takes to complete the detailed requirements, the size of the binder (usually over 3 inches thick) and am always relieved when I get the “you made it” letter in the mail.

Interested in checking out their certification?  Go to www.iaem.com for more information.
