H1N1 continues to spread like wildfire in Argentina. Today (Sunday) is was announced during the country elections that community social distancing will be implemented tomorrow.
“On Monday the decision would be made public officially. The government will close schools, malls, cinemas and theaters and institute the social distancing measures, similar to those of Mexico. The truth is that we are awaiting a declaration of health emergency, but that is decided by the Crisis Committee. This should have been done yesterday, said Jorge San Juan, leader of Terapia Intensiva Hospital Muñiz and member of the Committee of Experts that advises the Crisis Committee.”
